Lake Cowgirl 4 REMAX Advantage Plus 2

Lake Cowgirl now has 10 goals in their first two games to go with a league low 5 against.  Goaltender Sedona Blair (University of New Hampshire) made 21 saves while seeing her league leading save percentage jump to .914.  She saw a number of in-tight deflections and was in mid-season form to anchor her team in 60 minutes of play.

Blair’s counterpart, Annika Lavender (St. Michael’s College) equaled Blair’s 21 saves and sits second in the league in save percentage, posting a .900 save percentage in her two games.  Ava Lindsay (Minnesota) had a goal and assisted on sister Sadie’s (University of St. Thomas) goal in the second half which was her second of the season.

The loss leveled REMAX at 1-1 on the season while Lake Cowgirl stands alone in first place with a pair of wins and six points.  The game was the first for Ellie Morrison since she suffered a knee injury and did not appear in a game with Dartmouth last season, her first year at the collegiate level.
